Job Description: DIRECTOR OF AM PROGRAMMING
(850KOA, 630 KHOW & AM760):
Be apart of our great team! Clear Channel Denver is looking for
a Director of AM Programming, who is a leader, an innovator and
a champion of AM radio.
Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
• A clear vision of how to successfully
program AM radio stations in today’s increasingly competitive
media environment.
• A thorough knowledge of an experience with
News and Talk Programming.
• A commitment to expanding stations into the
many digital arenas available.
• Since our stations air over 200 major
league sporting events each year and intimate knowledge of
sports broadcasting is essential
• Knowledge of and experience with Arbitron’s
PPM service.
• Great people skills including the ability
to coach highly experienced On Air Talent.
• Experience coordinating the work of
producers, productions staff along with news and sports
departments.
• First hand knowledge of station
imaging and promotion both on and off air.
• Ability to collaborate with other
departments such as engineering, sales and business operations.
