Multi-faceted position for a nursing professional with clinical
transplant experience who possesses an interest in quality care
and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Focus on
transplant facility site visits and clinical program survey
(RFIs) review. Responsible for leading multiple Blue Distinction
projects, services, and associated deliverables related to the
Blue Distinction program.
Excellent
opportunity for a strategic thinker and problem solver who is
comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Functions as an information resource on Blue Distinction
administrative and clinical procedures contributing to the
assimilation of data and the development of value added
resources for Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans. Also participates on
smaller Blue Distinction project teams as a clinical resource.
Requirements
Current active
registered nurse license in at least one state
B.S. degree in nursing
5 years work
experience with a minimum of 2 years as a registered nurse in a
hospital setting transplant program
Knowledge and
understanding of provider credentialing and quality improvement
processes
Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Basic Qualifications

An
understanding of managed care or health benefit plans,
patient case management, or medical claims techniques.

bone marrow transplant experience

knowledge of biostatistics and related analysis of patient
outcome statistics
